Dr. Rosanne Edenhart-Pepe is a licensed psychologist in the State of Pennsylvania. Her work has spanned four states and multiple specialties. During the course of her 27 years in practice her focus has always been on the health of children, young adults, couples and families. She remains current about relevant issues by participating in continuing education programs and ongoing supervisory consultation. “Together we come to understand the complex set of circumstances that an individual, couple, or family faces. Collaboratively we then find or create the strengths and skills necessary to successfully navigate life's turbulent waters.”
As a graduate of Washington University in St Louis Missouri, Dr. Edenhart-Pepe completed her work in the Psychiatry Department of Washington University Medical School. There she worked with medically and psychiatrically high risk individuals and families. In Kansas at the Institute for Logopedics, Dr. Edenhart-Pepe focused on the needs of communication disordered individuals. While in private practice for 20 years in North Carolina, Dr. Edenhart-Pepe worked with a variety of community agencies and state offices to address the needs of individuals and families within the community setting. For many years she worked with the North Carolina Office of Juvenile Justice on suicide evaluation and prevention. “My goal has always been to assist people to find what is causing the imbalance in their life. It brings me great joy to help people correct that imbalance so that they can enjoy success and live happily.”
Working with groups has been an emphasis throughout her career and Dr. Edenhart-Pepe currently facilitates the Cancer Support Group at Aria Health Bucks Campus, and an Elder Care Support Group through her Quaker Meeting. She is the senior psychologist working with the Bariatric Surgery Clinic at Aria Health, and also performs psychological evaluations for bariatric surgery through her private practice.
“I try to apply my expertise on a wide variety of issues. My form of cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused therapy quickly targets outstanding problems to bring relief and change in the shortest time possible. Currently I am focusing on couples therapy, especially following infidelity, issues of anxiety, depression, and grief following loss, career transition and the stress of the transitional period, family change, and medically complicated cases.”
In addition to her private practice, Dr. Edenhart-Pepe is a master gardener, musician, tennis player, equestrienne, and writer.
